Every year at London’s Southbank Centre plays host to the now legendary Meltdown. The Festival is traditionally curated by a single figurehead in the music world. In the past this has featured John Peel, Nick Cave, Scott Walker, David Bowie, Jarvis Cocker andMorrissey to name but a few. Each curator selects some of their favourite musicians to play the venue over the course of around 10 days, throwing up a load of exclusive one off gigs and providing a fascinating insight into the minds of some of the best recording artists in history.
