Former X Factor winners Little Mix are set to play at The O2 on Bank Holiday Sunday 25 May next year.

The band, who recently released their second album, have had two number singles and a platinum selling debut album in the UK.

They have also flown the flag for British pop music abroad with their debut album, DNA, certified gold in Australia, and top five in Japan. In the US they broke the Spice Girls' record for the highest ever US chart debut by a British girl group, entering the charts at number four.

Little Mix commented: “We're so excited to be preparing for our first arena tour. It's incredible to think we'll be playing for so many people every night. We are going to be pulling out all the stops to make sure it's as unforgettable for our Mixers as it will be for us.

Tickets for the show go on sale on at 10am on Friday 6 December.
