Known designers created dolls for UNICEF
United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF (‘that provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries’) organized the 12th annual charity initiative «Les Frimousses de Créateurs», in which the well-known designers and brands create dolls to help children. Proceeds from sale of toys is for purchase the vaccines.
New project involved 44 brands including Chanel, Lanvin, Gucci, Sonia Rykiel and Christian Dior. Each year, designers are offer a certain topic. This time they were inspired by the opera motifs.
From 18 to 23 November dolls will be on display at the Paris Opera ‘Théâtre du Châtelet’.
November 24 will be hold their auction. The starting price for a toy is 700 euros.
