Deadline website reports that Elevative Entertainment Company plans to shoot a parody of the thriller series «TAKEN».

The project was named «Tooken» and was conceived as a film, similar in spirit to the popular comedy movie «Naked Gun» with Leslie Nielasen. Now is casting. It is assumed that the film shooting will begin this summer. Released date of the comedy is not specified.

The first film in the series "Taken" was released in 2008. As a producer and co-writer was chosen Luc Besson. The main hero of the movie was a former CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson), who rescued the kidnapped daughter Kim (Maggie Grace).

The film has been extremely successful - its fees totaled $ 226 million with a budget of $ 25 million. Sequel "Taken 2", in which again starred Neeson and Grace, was released in 2012 and earned at the box office $ 376 million with a budget of $ 45 million.
