DJ Warren Peace
is currently one of the most sought after DJ’s in America.
Weekly, he shares the stage with fellow DJ’s such as
Deadmau5, Afrojack, Laid
Back Luke, Calvin Harris and
Steve Aoki –just to name a few. Warren Peace has
been the driving force behind the “Vegas Sound”
since 1988.
Warren was introduced to music at the age of 5
when his mother would take him to the record store every week to
buy a record. By high school, Warren was an integral team
member at the first night club in Las Vegas, helping set up the
sound system and programming the music that drew crowds. His radio
career began in college on UNLV’s award -winning KUNV. Warren’s
show “Word Up” won several industry awards
including Radio Show of the Year twice and Best Radio
Programmer. Warren then moved to the #1 rated commercial
radio station KLUC from 1998 -2007. There, he
hosted/DJ’d/programmed two award- winning radio shows “The
Vibe” a Hip Hop & R&B
show and “Vibrate Radio” a Dance/House
music show.
In the early stages of Rave/house music, Warren
was 1 of 2 DJ’s that started the Rave scene in Las Vegas. At
one point all major Rave/House parties in Las Vegas included
Warren Peace on the bill. To this day Warren sets
the direction of the music in Las Vegas Venues. Warren was also
responsible for introducing Serato Scratch Live to the West Coast
& personally tutored some of the world’s top DJs to help boost
their careers. Warren has produced official
and unofficial remix work for: Jay-z,
50 Cent, Beyonce
and Snoop. In recent years Warren
created a new format known as “XS Format” that all
major American club venues have implemented and is currently
collaborating with Grammy nominated house music producer
Chris Cox, who has a string of 43 #1 billboard
Dance Club Hits.
