Accompanied by her truly funky powerhouse band Lizzie performs classic cuts including grandstanding soul stompers 'Respect' and ‘’Rocksteady’ alongside beautiful ballads 'Natural Woman’ and 'I Say A Little Prayer’, plus some lesser known gems together with some of her own Aretha-inspired original material.

Much in-demand soul, funk & blues singer Lizzie has just the kind of deeply soulful voice that favours the sweet, melodic and raw belting lines associated with the classic divas. With her warm persona and infectious performance style Lizzie contemporises her most important musical influences that include Aretha Franklin, James Brown, The Jacksons, Etta James, Stevie Wonder & Otis Redding.

Having performed and toured with many highly-acclaimed artists including Pee Wee Ellis & Fred Wesley (JB Horns), Carleen Anderson, Martha High, Mica Paris, Kim Mazelle and Jocelyn Brown in the soul arena as well as Boy George, Belinda Carlisle, Howard Jones and Just Jack in other musical fields, Lizzie Deane has a wealth of stage, TV, radio and session experience. Her arresting vocal qualities frequently draw comparison to not just Aretha Franklin, but Dusty Springfield, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Lisa Stansfield and Joss Stone too.
