Doctor Nut

Doctor Nut is a unique five-piece rock band from Bristol, drawing influence from progressive rock, punk and metal, and ancient Western music such as classical and baroque. The band’s signature is the inclusion of typically British comedy, inspired by the likes of Monty Python, Blackadder and Fawlty Towers. Fantasy and mythically-themed lyrics are a mainstay of the band’s sound, as is an obsession with owls and Brian Blessed. Doctor Nut has been heavily active on the south west circuit since its inception in 2007.
