This year will be our 6th festival in Moseley Park. Each year we try our best to improve on the last, and judging by the size of our audience and the positive feedback we’ve had from our regulars we tend to get most things right. We try to program a healthy mix of traditional, contemporary and downright experimental folk and acoustic music.

Showcasing unsigned acts right next to well established international artists makes for a really exciting bill. Ours is very much a family friendly event with activities for all ages. This year we’re again venturing out beyond the tree lined boundaries of the park into a choice selection of Moseley Village’s finest pubs where you’ll find sessions, dancing and an array of talented musicians.

Moseley Folk Festival is held in Moseley Park, a stunning 11-acre woodland glade in the heart of Moseley Village. Although it’s just 2 miles from the centre of Birmingham it is a world away from city life. It is the perfect setting for a festival as the ground slopes down into a natural amphitheatre in front of a stunning lake. Moseley Park is in the heart of Moseley Village with plenty of shops, newsagents, restaurants, pubs and cash machines
