As it well known film studio Sony Pictures, decided to shoot a film dedicated to the founder of Apple Steve Jobs. But the competition for the main role is still continues. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the main contender for the lead role is now Leonardo DiCaprio and director's chair can take Danny Boyle.

Both of them have already met on the set of the film "The Beach", released in 2000. Recall that the project previously was left by David Fincher, who demanded that Steve Jobs role was played by Christian Bale. The reason for his departure was the studio management disagreement with his financial demands. Fincher required to pay him a guaranteed advance of $ 10 million dollars.

The project will be based on a biography written by Walter Isaacson. The consultant will be one of the founders of Apple, Steve Wozniak.
