Benedict Cumberbatch – Richard III
Benedict Cumberbatch will shoot in the television adaptation of Shakespeare's play “Richard III”. The announcement was posted on Twitter of BBC Two.
The film will be an integral part of a large Shakespeare’s project by BBC. In particular, previously BBC has already presented adaptation of “Henry IV” (2012), in which the main role was performed by Jeremy Irons. The project producer is Sam Mendes. Dominic Cooke, the theater director and playwright will also take part.
From 2010 on BBC demonstrates the series of "Sherlock", in which the main role is also performs Cumberbatch. His partner is the actor Martin Freeman.
In early April 2014 it was announced that later this year, Freeman will play Richard III in theatrical productions in the Trafalgar Studios in London's West End.
