Yesterday in New York were announced designers who claim for the award of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in 2014. Diane von Furstenberg (CFDA president) named potential winners.

For the best designer award among women’s clothing in 2014 were claimed Marc Jacobs, Joseph Altuzarra and Alexander Wang. In the nomination "The best menswear designer" – Tom Brown, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of ‘Rag & Bone’, and Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of ‘Public School’.

The award for best accessories design can be won by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for the collection for the brand ‘The Row’, Alexander Wang or ‘Proenza Schouler’ designers Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez.

In addition to the main awards, which will be presented on June 2 to designers admitted above, special awards will be traditionally given by brand ‘Swarovski’. Also will be awarded the most talented budding designers.
