Биография Rave CHannel

Rave CHannel is a husband and wife vocal progressive-trance duo from Russia created by Max Elin and Natasha Elina. Prior to 2009, they recorded music individually before their collaboration.

Although having worked together for only a short period of time, Max and Natasha began to explore to mutually raise their musical production abilities. Their dream is to create a new electronic and dance music genre by fusing progressive style with electro-bass that will reverberate in clubs across the world.

After two years of successful collaboration, Max and Natasha defined their own style and became the only vocal progressive trance duet representing Russia at the world stage.

Rave CHannel’s breakthrough came in the 7th of August in 2011 with their remix of Klauss Goulart – Deep Universe, which was selected by the DJ Mag 2012 No. 1 DJ in the World, Armin Van Buuren, in his radioshow “A State of Trance 515”. Subsequently, other top DJs from around the world took notice of Rave CHannel’s work. Their work enjoyed support from:

Ronski Speed (No. 69, 2010),

Mark Pledger (Anjunabeats), among others.

In addition, Rave Channel has collaborated with Pedro Del Mar (brother of Roger Shah, No. 51, 2011) on an uplifting track titled “Connection”, which was quickly released on High Contrast music label. This track was further selected by Tiesto (No. 3, 2011) on his radio podcast, as well as Sean Tyas (No. 72, 2011) and Roger Shah.

Then, Rave CHannel created a track in 2 languages devoted to three cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod (where they live). The track is named “Always in my heart”. Fans learned the lyrics in advance and sang along on the dance floor with Rave CHannel, as homage to Russian Trance. This moment culminated a highly successful year for RCH.

Rave CHannel’s vocals were further featured by J-Soul in their track “Deeper”, which was released in three compilations under the music labels Black Hole and Magic Muzik. This track proved to be highly popular and was played by radio stations around the world.

“Summer Days” by Rave CHannel (Lifted Sounds Recordings) was supported from TyDi (No. 48, 2011), Fast Distance (Armada, Black Hole) and was selected by Dash Berlin (No. 8, 2011) as part of a compilation of the best tracks in September 2011. It was then re-released on Armada music label.

In 2011, Rave CHannel was named by Dash Berlin as a Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2011 to DJ Mag Top 100 DJs. Although they never met, RCH and Dash Berlin’s styles mixed instantly. Rave CHannel’s remix of Dash Berlin’s “Better Half of Me” cemented as the best project of 2011. They continued to experience success with a megahit in a fusion track of rock and trance in “Illusion”, which was released on Aropa label. The innovative sounds delighted trance and progressive fans and opened them to a re-imagination of electronic music. After, RCH performed on tour with Dash Berlin in Russia, as their sets created unforgettable memories for all music lovers in attendance.

In 2012 the RCH were signed by Armada Label to continue to release their music. One of Rave CHannel’s first hits under Armada was “Te Quiero”, which was featured and remixed by star DJs around the world. By the end of 2012, Rave CHannel continued to receive offers for their re-imagination of hit electronic music, such as “Andy Moor feat. Sue McLaren – Trespass”. Today, Max and Natasha continue to make both original tracks and remixes in Rave CHannel’s defining style: Hard electro-bass with memorable melodies and smooth vocals.

Central to RCH’s musical philosophy is that ideas and sounds should possess both quality and originality. Together, Max and Natasha continue to expand their boundaries in their quest to create unique sounds.

But their music production has very humble roots. Very few people know that RCH create music in a studio in their house, which consists of several computers and midi-keyboards, along with the usual columns bought in household appliances shop. They prove that the only limits to musical expression and success of beginning musicians are their talent, desire, and passion. Their success at the world level without professional-grade music studio and equipment is evident of their philosophy, beliefs, and talent.
