The Softbank commercial series have been featuring a fictional "Shirato family", a father of which is a dog. The series has been voted the most favorite TV commercial for a few years now in Japan.
Script: Route 66 in the USA. Two bikers on the road. Shirato father (a dog) joins the bikers. His wife and daughter (Shirato family) join. Father says "We are cool!" Narration: "You can win a black bike if you sign with Softbank now."
