Music for the Divine, the follow-up to 2005's Soul Mover marked a continued increase in Hughes' popularity; it has overtaken Soul Mover as Hughes' biggest selling solo album to date. It features Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith on the entirety of the record. The record was also co-produced by Smith and was recorded at his home in the Hollywood Hills; the album artwork features pictures taken during the recording process.
