CYBERPUNKERS "OLD SKULL EP" (some infos about this EP)
1 - What originally inspired you to create this EP? During a night in the studio we randomly found an old hard disk that we previously abandoned. After having linked it to the Mac, we discovered that the precious relic contained some tracks we did a few years ago that we had completely forgotten about. We were astonished by their extraordinary grit and style, and it would be a real waste to leave them there. Like the best wine that you forgot about in a old and smelly basement, we have our musical vintage wine, remastered!
2 - What are the origins of this title, "Old Skull EP"? After the big discovery, we were left to create a EP that could show the world how many skeletons there are in the dj's/producer's closets. Lots of tracks are abandoned to their lonely and sad destiny, that without proper care would have never emerged again. "Old Skulls" is a pun which describes at its best this EP: it is "old school", with the addition of "skull". The Skull represents the classic skeleton in the closet that knocks at your door when you least expect it. It could make you happy or it could hold some unpleasant surprises; our hard disk was full of them, but we have chosen just three.
3 - Why did you decide to release the EP as a free download? This EP is like an invite to dinner. The invite is intended for all our fans and the ones who will join in the future. We think we will be able to offer a baselines and fatbeats based-menu, that nobody can refuse, also because this dinner is completely offered by us... Do you have friends for dinner and make them pay? Absolutely not.

1 -- Da dove nasce questo EP? Durante una nottata in studio, ci siamo imbattuti per caso in un nostro vecchio hard disk abbandonato. Dopo averlo collegato al Mac abbiamo scoperto che il prezioso cimelio conteneva delle tracce che avevamo fatto alcuni anni prima e di cui c'eravamo completamente dimenticati. Rimanemmo basiti per la loro straordinaria grinta e stile, quindi ci sembrò uno spreco lasciarli lì a fare la muffa. Come il miglior vino, che viene dimenticato su un ripiano di vecchi e maleodoranti scantinati, anche noi abbiamo il nostro "vino musicale" d'annata, rimasterizzato. 2 -- Qual è l'origine del titolo "Old Skull" dell'EP? Dopo la grande scoperta, non ci rimaneva che dare vita ad un EP che potesse mostrare al mondo quanti scheletri sono presenti negli armadi di noi dj/producers. Tante tracce abbandonate ad un triste e solitario destino che senza un'adeguata cura non sarebbero mai riemerse per il pubblico. "Old skulls" è un gioco di parole che descrive alla perfezione questo ep: è "old school" con l'aggiunta di "skull" che rappresenta il classico scheletro nell'armadio che quando meno te lo aspetti viene a bussare alla tua porta, puo' renderti felice ma riserva anche qualche sgradevole sorpresa (il nostro hard disk ne era pieno ma si sono salvate solo queste tre). 3 - Perchè in free download? Questo ep e' come un'invito a cena. L'invito e' rivolto a tutti i nostri attuali fan e a quelli futuri. Ci sentiamo in grado di poter offrire un menù fatto di basslines & fatbeats a cui nessuno dei nostri avventori deve assolutamente rinunciare, anche perchè questo cenone e' offerto da noi.....Cosa fai, vengono gli amici a mangiare e li fai pagare?
