Phil Collins - drummer and vocalist of the rock band ‘Genesis’, which made an impressive solo career, selling over 150 million copies of albums, was rudely insulted by the singer Adele.

In a new interview, he revealed that Adele had asked him to work together. Despite this, the partnership did not work out. This fact is extremely dissatisfied British musician.

"She always asked me to work together. Once she even sent me some excerpt of a song and asked me to finish it. And then, I did not hear about her. I failed the task…all what happened"- said the former drummer of the band Genesis.  

63-year-old musician added: "It was stated, that at the moment Adele is moving to a new house and the child takes all her spare time. Also she wrote that does not write any songs and generally playing the fool. And then, everyone started saying that she will soon release a new album. And I know that my work was not included in it."

Collins summed up his words calling Adele ‘a real cheater and liar’.

Note, that earlier Adele’s official label announced - the long-awaited third LP of the star will not be released in 2014.
