Company ‘Official Charts Company’, dealing with the UK sales data calculations, published the results of the first half of 2014. In the report were the most sold-plates at the moment.

The 1st place is occupied by Coldplay with their sixth studio album "Ghost Stories". The disc, released in May, has been sold in the first week in circulation 168,000 copies. At the moment, the figure reached 375,000.

The general sales of Coldplay band in native UK since the release of the debut album "Parachutes" in the 2000s at the moment is - 11 million dollars.

Second place took Paolo Nutini with his LP "Caustic Love" (329,000).

On the third place - Ellie Goulding with a disc "Halcyon" (275,000).

Interestingly, that last in TOP 10 of the leaders are Arctic Monkeys with last year's release "AM": in 2013 this LP became one of the most sold in the country.
