Warner Bros. chose a director for the film adaptation of the novel written by Yo Nesbo “Blood on the Snow”.

According to the information from Variety source, appointed director is Daniel Espinosa – director of “Safe House”.

Leonardo DiCaprio will act as a producer of the film. It is assumed that he also can play a major role, but officially this information has not been confirmed. When shooting starts also currently remain unknown.

Recall that the story is built around a bounty hunter, who gets the job to kill the boss's wife, but falls in love with her.

The film will be shot on the studio Appian Way owned by DiCaprio.

The real writer of the film story is planning to create two sequels. The first part of the novel should go on sale in autumn 2014, and its sequel will be released in the spring of 2015.
