Deadline reported that Robert Luketic is ready to shoot a new film.

The project was considered as a female version of “The Expendables” – an action movie involving many well-known actresses. In particular, the media reported that the filmmakers are interested in working with Meryl Streep, Milla Jovovich and Cameron Diaz, but the participation of any of them has not yet officially confirmed.

One of the producers of the project is Sylvester Stallone. The script was written by Karen McCullah and Kirsten Smith, who had previously worked together (comedy “Legally Blonde”).

The new film will be a story about group of female mercenaries that comes in a struggle with the tyrant wishing to take over the world! In the near future the director intends to selec actresses for the main roles. Now there is no information about the date of release.
