They created pages with graphics (64 years existence) of the most popular genres in music history. Music Timeline shows the history of music, starting from 1950 to the present day. The chart clearly shows a huge impact of jazz on the music development in the whole beginning of the second half of the 20th century. Despite the fact that the electronics (as well as hip-hop) become a full-fledged musical genre long ago, the Google’s graphic reflects it as a very young field, which will be developed in the future.
