The classic Disney’s story of “Sleeping Beauty” (first released in the cinema in 1959), will show the same events but in unexpected, completely new manner in a film “Maleficent”! Viewers will be able to find out why Maleficent’s heart was hardened, and which forced it to impose a curse on Aurora.

Young sorceress Maleficent led a solitary life in the enchanted forest , surrounded by fantastic creatures, but one day everything changed... Her world was invaded by people who brought destruction and chaos, and Maleficent had to defend her native home and its inhabitants, calling upon the powerful dark forces of a black magic. In the heat of battle Maleficent imposed a terrible curse on the newborn king's daughter, the beautiful Aurora. But seeing how the little princess grows up,  Maleficent begins to doubt in her cruel acts – in fact, probably, Aurora is the one, who can save a magical forest kingdom.

Even Angelina’s Jolie children will be in a forthcoming premiere.

One her daughter Vivien will play the very young Princess Aurora. But Pax and Zahara will also make their debut in the cinema with small roles. Thus, there will be four members of the Jolie-Pitt family in a new movie.

In a conversation with a journalist of Entertainment Weekly Jolie told a little about the nature of her character: “I hope in the end you see a woman capable of much. It protects herself in an aggressive way, but it does not mean that she has no other warmer qualities. You will have to solve a riddle of her personality. Sounds crazy, because Maleficent – the villain, but the girls could glean from her some good qualities. In fact, it is – a great character, but this character is not perfect, it is not ideal”.

"Maleficent" shooting began in England last week, and it is planned that the viewer will see the picture on March 14, 2014.
