Debut Ultra South Africa has become the largest festival of electronic music that has ever seen the African continent.

The event took place in Cape Town and Johannesburg, February 14 and 15, where more than 40,000 lovers of electronic and dance music attended the two-day event.

Shaun Duvet, one of five main organizers of the fest said the following:

“We are very proud of the first Ultra South Africa. Response of the fans was incredible, it really was a dream, and we can assure you that the next festival will be only bigger and better!”

Ultra South Africa now plan to spend at least the next five years, so we now have to wait for information in 2015.
