Coldplay donated money to treat their fan

Coldplay decided to help their admirer, who is ill with motor neurone disease.

Jody Duff is working with his family and friends to raise cash for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND Association). But it was not enough money and he asked for help Coldplay through a special website. But his friend Adam Powell decided to go ahead and wrote a group the private letter, in which he explained the situation and described the state of Jody. So, rock band donated £10,000 for patient’s treatment.

In addition to financial assistance, Coldplay invited Jody to their London concert at the Royal Albert Hall, spent time with him in the dressing room, and dedicated the favourite track of Jody "Fix You" to him. During the concert Chris Martin told the 5,000-strong crowd: “We just want to send him, from us and from all of you, as much love as we possibly can”.

"He’s very inspiring and he said that every day you live, you should live it as though it’s your last and that’s such an amazing thing to hear from some who’s gone through so much.”
