Chicago DJ was found dead in the western part of his native city at 1:30 pm, Saturday April 26, with a suspected overdose.

News leaked via Twitter yesterday afternoon from DJ Godfather, which was to play with Rashad and DJ Spinn in Detroit club on April 27.

Producer and DJ, Rashad Garden, was a legend, one of the leading footwork on stage. Last year, the artist released the critically acclaimed album "Double Cup" on the label Hyperdub.

DJs, producers and representatives of the music industry, including Chance The Rapper, A Trak and Kaytranada expressed their condolences on the page of Rashad on Twitter account.
