LEGO continues to develop its partnership with the creators of the series "The Simpsons". The company announced a new line of toys, which will include 16 characters of minifigures from popular animated series.

According to the magazine The Hollywood Reporter, the figures will be available in May 2014.

Appearance of Simpsons figures on store shelves coincides with the release of a special LEGO-episode on Fox on May 4, and with the 25th anniversary of the series.

Recall that in April this year, the company released the LEGO play set "The Simpsons House" ($ 200). It consisted of 2,523 parts and six figures of the series' heroes - Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Ned Flanders.

The new line of toys will be presented at the price of $ 3 99 cents for each one.
