Record at the box office

The film "The Grand Budapest Hotel" set a new record in the American box office. According to Variety, the movie was released in American theaters on only four screens and earned for the first weekend 811,000 dollars.

This is slightly more than 202 thousand dollars for a copy, which is a new all-time record for the feature films in limited release.

Previously, the record belonged to the film "Master", which earned for the first- weekend 147 thousand dollars with a single copy.
