British Film Academy awarded best of the best!

Yesterday, February 16, was held BAFTA 2014 ceremony in London. There was no less stars on the red carpet than at the presentation of “Oscar”. In the spotlight we also noticed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Pitt came as producer of the picture “12 years of slavery”, which was one of the main contenders for the award.

So let's look at the list of winners:

“Best Film” –  deserved drama “12 Years a Slave”. Actor of the main role Chiwetel Ejiofor received the award as “Best Actor”.

“Best Actress” – Cate Blanchett, who played in the film “Jasmine”.

“Best British Film” – film “Gravity”. Its creator, Alfonso Cuarón was honored as best director. Recall that “Gravity” was the leader in number of nominations. In total, 11 awards BAFTA.

The best animated film of the year - “Frozen”.
