According to a script, Adam is the monster created by Dr. Frankenstein. Because of his unique genes he could survive to the present day. Caught in the dark gothic metropolis, he finds himself in the midst of an age-old war between the two clans of immortal beings... One of them want to destroy the entire human race and the other – want to save people! Frankenstein chooses the side of good, soldiers of which are monsters like him.

During Shooting.

November 2011, it was confirmed that the shooting will take place in Melbourne, Australia, and that the production of the film will deal with the Australian company Hopscotch Features.

October 7, 2011 it was announced that a major role would play Aaron Eckhart.

Filming began on February 27, 2012 at the studio in Melbourne (Docklands Studios Melbourne). Ten weeks of shooting took place in the Victoria State (Australia). The film has provides more than 500 people with job places.

Originally, the premiere in the United States was scheduled for February 22, 2013, but five months before it was moved to September 13, 2013. In February 2013, it was announced that the film would be released in the format of 3D. In April the premiere date was moved again – on January 24, 2014.
