Suits for Wall Street Wolf

Legendary Italian designer Giorgio Armani not the first time created chic costumes for movies. His brand deserved a huge spread in Hollywood after the film "American Gigolo" (1980), where the main role went to Richard Gere. Armani’s costumes introduced new motifs to the fashion house style development of the 80s.

Armani and Martin Scorsese had the opportunity to work together several times. The latter Martin even directed for his friend a short film "Made in Milan". And this time Armani has created costumes for Leonardo DiCaprio in a new film “The Wolf of Wall Street”.  Armani worked with the British costume designer Sandy Powell (who has been nominated ten times for the Academy Award), allowing her to borrow some fashionable features from Italian style to create the costumes in the style of the 90s for a new Scorsese's film.
