last night in nyc there were torrential, singapore-style rains.
one minute it was quiet. then the heavens opened up and old testament / taxi-driver rains fell on nyc.
so i took out my phone and made a tiny movie. then i realized that i was getting soaked so i put my phone away and ran home in the rain.
more important (for me anyway), there was a song on 'last night' that for some reason or other no one ever heard. it's called 'last night', and it's the 2nd to last song on the album 'last night'. it's one of my favorite songs of all the songs i've ever made, so i've included a minute of it here along with my tiny cameraphone movie of 12th street (and me, by association) getting rained on. i'm biased, but i think it's one of the nicest songs i've made (or in this case made with my friend sylvia from kudu)
