It’s been a whole three months, but we’re finally back in Manchester! After a busy summer in London, we can’t wait to get back to where it all started. We’ve been putting in the hours over the summer and have some serious line ups to announce!

Our first guest is Detroit legend Andrés. Otherwise known as Dj Dez, Dez Andres and A Drummer from Detroit, Moodymann’s number 2 has been ‘flirting with house and Disco’ since the 90’s. A good friend of J Dilla, Andrés (under the moniker DJ Dez) toured as Dillla’s DJ in Slum Village. He’s also produced for Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Erykah Badu, Jurassic 5…….The list is endless!

Having produced three albums on Moody’s label Mahogani, Andrés label La Vida launched in 2012. His first record (LAVIDA 001) was the bestselling record on Discogs in 2012, with the A-side ‘New For U’ being voted Resident Advisors top track of 2012. This is not one to miss!

Support will be provided by Dan Shake (Mahogani). Dan found his first production software in a box of Shreddies when he was 13, practiced a bit, and a few years later gave a CD to Moodymann after his Three Chairs set at Dimensions. KDJ liked it, and soon after Dan was the first person outside of Detroit to release on Mahogani. We’re looking forward to having Dan back!
